In addition to resolving debts International Advisers also handles legal proceedings in the Netherlands and abroad. International Advisers can carry out a risk profile analysis, undertake a feasibility study, as well as advising on the legal aspects of the matter. International Advisers can pursue on your behalf the following procedures, when possible:
- court orders
- injunctions
- seizure and garnishment
- proceedings on the merits
- default judgments
- the enforcement of a foreign judgment (exequatur)
- insolvency
- suspension of payments
In the event that the customer decides on legal action, we begin making the necessary arrangements straight away. International Advisers takes over the case file from the customer, thus enabling the customer to concentrate fully on his own business activities. We are responsible for handling the case and for keeping the customer informed of any developments.
International Advisers arranges the engagement of a process server, the service of the relevant documents and looks after all the interests of the customer. Also, in the event that our customers themselves become involved in legal proceedings, International Advisers can stand by as an adviser and ensure that a defence is filed.
