The buyer-supplier relationship is of the utmost importance, one in which parties rely on one another. It may be possible to maintain the relationship if legal action can be avoided. International Advisers can play a part in the above by negotiating with the customer's debtors. We refer to the above as pre-legal or pre-judicial collection. As a neutral party we can remind the debtor of his obligations and perhaps help forge a new payment arrangement, which makes it possible for parties to continue trading with each other afterwards.
